  • The world’s population is growing, people are living longer and are exposed to health damaging factors that affects their health. 
  • The world’s healthcare resources are already insufficient. 
  • The global health care sector projects a shortfall of 10 million workers by 2030.

Growing health problems globally

  • More than 1 billion people already suffer from mental illnesses.
  • 4 billion people (half of the world’s population) are expected to suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime.

Increasing healthcare costs

  • The global public healthcare expenditure 2024 is estimated to $9,5 trillion USD ($26 billion daily).
  • According to the WHO, around 100 million people are pushed into extreme poverty each year due to out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
  • The society sick leave in Sweden is $38,000.

 95% of the global population suffer from mental, emotional or physical health problems

  • Practically every person on earth is either suffering from own health and/or life problems and/or knows someone who is.
  • We naturally need to be a lot of people working to achieving a game-changing impact on global health.
